Israel is rated Medium. Its pledge of 20% below business as usual in 2020 is a deviation from trend. However, Israel did not provide a consistent analysis of emissions, projections and this target.

 

Description

Israel pledges a "20% reduction of GHG emissions by 2020 below BAU. Main actions for achieving reduction target include: 10% renewable energy for electricity generation by 2020; 20% reduction of electricity consumption by 2020."
